League Launches Bowl Central Fan Page

BOWL CENTRAL

LEWISTOWN, Pa. – With the postseason officially kicking off on Thursday evening with Kish defeating Derry-Decatur in Midget division action, the Central Keystone Youth Football & Cheer League has launched a Bowl Central Fan Page to get fans prepared for the weekend’s events at Mitchell Field.

Kish defeated Derry-Decatur by a 12-6 tally on Thursday evening to book a Sunday morning matchup with the Terrace Tigers in a rematch of last season’s thrilling championship game.

Each game of the Bowl Weekend will be live streamed via the league’s YouTube channel. All games are available at the YouTube link in the league mobile app for Apple devices and can be viewed directly on all devices via the above Bowl Central link. Fans at home may also utilize the YouTube app on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and other streaming devices to watch the games from the comfort of their living room.

Fans will also have schedules broken down by division along with results as they come in at the Bowl Central page.

Finally, fans are also reminded of the following guidelines for Mitchell Field:

  • Mitchell Field is a non-smoking facility.
  • Firearms and other weapons are not permitted on the grounds of Mitchell Field.
  • Parents, fans and other non-game personnel are not allowed on the field at Mitchell Field until given verbal approval by league staff over the public address system.
  • Any parent, coach or fan that is deemed to be unruly will be asked to leave the premises.
  • Parents are reminded of the code of conduct they signed at the beginning of the season. The Parent’s Code of Conduct remains in effect and will be enforced.

Action kicks off on Saturday morning with Mighty Might action at 11 a.m. and wraps up on Sunday evening with the Midget Championship game between top-seeded McVeytown and Burnham.


The CKYFCL is a 501c3 registered non-profit organization benefitting the more than 600 children across a four-county area in Central Pennsylvania. In addition to healthy competition, the league aims to provide an equal opportunity for kids between the ages of 5 and 13 to learn important skills in teamwork while forming friendships and bonds that can last a lifetime.
