LEWISTOWN, Pa. – Football season is in full swing for the Central Keystone Youth Football & Cheer League (CKYFCL) and competition season is coming up quickly for the league’s cheerleading squads.
The league’s annual cheer competition will take place on October 19, 2024 at the Mifflin County High School gymnasium. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. on competition day with full competition taking place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Champions will be crowned in each of the league’s three divisions of competition. For the first time, each place-winning team will be awarded with a trophy at the conclusion of the competition to highlight their accomplishments during the 2024 campaign.
The CKYFCL is a 501c3 registered non-profit organization benefitting the more than 600 children across a four-county area in Central Pennsylvania. In addition to healthy competition, the league aims to provide an equal opportunity for kids between the ages of 5 and 13 to learn important skills in teamwork while forming friendships and bonds that can last a lifetime.
