MILROY, Pa. – After dropping both games during the regular season, Kish-South got the ultimate revenge in their third matchup of the season with the Burnham Bulldogs as the Indians reigned supreme by a 12-7 tally on Wednesday night.

With the win, Kish-South advances to Bowl Weekend at Donald M. Chapman III Stadium where it will do battle with the fifth-seeded Terrace Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

Kish-South took an early lead in the first quarter when Chase Yoder sprinted to the end zone on a 15-yard carry to build a 6-0 lead.

Defensively, the Indians were up to the task all evening and maintained a slim 6-0 advantage until late in the contest.

Burnham caught the Kish-South defense off guard when a weak-side pass struck pay dirt from 45-yards out. The Bulldogs converted the extra point to take their first lead at a 7-6 tally with 5:45 to play.

Kish-South responded with a methodical drive to regain the lead for good. Yoder led the charge for the Indians and ultimately capped off the scoring drive with a seven-yard touchdown run to push Kish-South out to a 12-7 lead with 2:50 to play.

Following the go-ahead score, the Kish-South defense forced a turnover on downs and the offense kneeled the ball to complete the victory by a 12-7 tally.

Yoder led the defense with nine tackles and an interception. Emmett Bishop, Easton Trutt and Knox Wagner each added five tackles in the win, while Paxton Snook intercepted a pass to round out a stellar effort from the Kish-South defense.

The loss wraps up a 4-9 season for the Bulldogs.

Kish-South returns to action on Sunday, November 9 when it does battle with the Terrace Tigers at 1:00 p.m. at Chapman Stadium to open a full day of Midget action.
