LEWISTOWN, Pa. – In front of a strong Husky crowd at legendary Mitchell Field, the Central Keystone Youth Football & Cheer League (CKYFCL) was welcomed by the Mifflin County Huskies football team on Friday night for Youth Night.
Prior to Friday night’s affair with Mechanicsburg, participants from the CKYFCL football and cheer squads warmed up with the Huskies. Following warmups participants from each team were introduced to the hometown faithful.
Mifflin County fell by a 40-6 tally to the visiting Wildcats.
After following a week off for Labor Day, the league gets the season back in full swing on Sunday afternoon.

The CKYFCL is a 501c3 registered non-profit organization benefitting the more than 600 children across a four-county area in Central Pennsylvania. In addition to healthy competition, the league aims to provide an equal opportunity for kids between the ages of 5 and 13 to learn important skills in teamwork while forming friendships and bonds that can last a lifetime.
