LEWISTOWN, Pa. – School may be out for the summer, but Mifflin County Huskies head football coach Shane Breon is spending some time in giving back to the local youth with the Second Annual Mifflin County Youth Football Camp.

This year’s camp will be held July 16-18 from 5:40 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at historic Mitchell Field and is open to anyone who will be entering grades 3-8 in the 2024-25 school year.

The cost to attend this year’s camp is $30 and campers will receive a short sleeve Husky Football compression shirt along with Rita’s Italian Ice on the final evening. Campers are expected to provide their own sneakers and cleats and must register online or via paper registration by June 30 to guarantee a short sleeve camp shirt.

A camp waiver form must be signed, dated and a hard-copy given to Coach Breon prior to any athlete’s participation in the camp. Waiver forms will also be available upon arrival.

Any questions should be directed at Coach Breon via email at jsbreon@hotmail.com

The Huskies are fresh off of a five-win campaign and will open the 2024 regular season on Friday, August 23 with a 7 p.m. kickoff at Central Mountain.
