LEWISTOWN, Pa. – Two new champions were crowned in the midst of a competitive weekend of action as the Central Keystone Football & Cheer League (CKFL) wrapped up its regular season over the weekend of November 4, 2023.

In the Pee Wee division, the Kish Indians wrapped up an impressive unbeaten season with a victory in the championship game on Saturday night under the lights at Mitchell Field. The Indians reigned supreme over McVeytown by a 25-6 tally.

A first-time champion was crowned in the Midget division as Terrace avenged a pair of regular season losses by earning a 31-25 victory over Kish. During the regular season, Kish outscored Terrace by a 55-6 tally across two games, but Sunday evening belonged to the Tigers as the program lifted its first Midget title.

Terrace’s victory rounded out a competitive weekend of action which saw one tie in the Mighty Mights division, a one-point Terrace victory in the Pee Wee division and a pair of eight point games in other bowl weekend action.

For the first time in league history, every game from the weekend was offered to the general public via a free video live stream. Fans, parents and players that wish to rewatch the weekend’s action are welcomed to do so at the above link.

The league board of directors would also like to thank every organization in the league for an outstanding season of competition and would like to also thank the fans, parents and athletes for their cooperation and support throughout the entire season – but especially on bowl weekend.
